Ed believes that your wedding should be exactly that: YOUR wedding — whether that's:
A traditional ceremony at a wedding venue
In the stands during a sporting event
On a roller coaster
In a hot tub
Under a full moon in the woods
or wherever and however expresses your love. ( Well, short of jumping out of a plane. You're on your own for that. )
And so he performs custom weddings and commitment ceremonies for couples in metro Atlanta and the surrounding Southeast area.
Ed also believes that an open line of communication is essential. Whether via phone, e-mail, texting, tweet, or Facebook message, Ed will be available to address your concerns.

Consultation
This informal meeting gives us a chance to meet and get to know each other, go over the plans for your wedding, and see if we will be a good fit for each other. This also gives you a chance to ask any questions you may have about the officiant/marriage license process and discuss any special requests you may have for your ceremony.
Ceremony
Once your service is booked, Ed will provide a set of standard ceremonies that range from traditional to non-denominational for you to review. You may choose one as-is, modify one as you see fit, or provide your own if you like.
Ed will work with you to develop your ceremony and ensure it is reflective of you and your event’s feel, and that you are comfortable with everything being said on your big day.
Marriage License
After the “I do's” have been said and the bride has been kissed, the marriage license still needs to be filed in order for your marriage to be legally recognized. Ed can work with you to ensure the paperwork is filled out properly and can assist with filing the license with the court if needed.
SAME-SEX MARRIAGE & INTERFAITH WEDDINGS
With the U.S. Supreme Court's long-overdue decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, the fundamental right to marry is guaranteed to same-sex couples under the 14th amendment.
Ed believes that love and commitment can exist between all people — and that includes lesbian and gay couples, as well as those of different faiths, races, and cultural backgrounds. Ed has performed many same-sex commitment ceremonies and marriages and is happy, willing, and excited to help you profess your love and legalize your union.
"Love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love."

About Ed
Edward Wilson is an ordained non-denominational minister with over 10 years of presentation and public speaking experience as a corporate trainer. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest and moved to the Atlanta area in 2007 with his wife Gayle.
Ed’s interest in performing wedding and commitment ceremonies came from his experience selecting the officiant for his own wedding. What he assumed would be a relatively simple process turned out to be quite difficult and caused a fair amount of stress. First, it seems most ministers don’t advertise outside of their church. Then there was the hurdle of finding an officiant that was comfortable performing a ceremony in a non-traditional setting. Fortunately, after many unreturned phone calls (and more time than he would have liked), Ed found someone to marry him and Gayle in the way they envisioned.
After many months of reflection on that wonderful and special day, Ed decided to take his honed skills and use them to make it easier for other folks who were searching for someone to perform customized wedding and commitment ceremonies. And since 2010 he has worked with hundreds of couples to help them fulfill their wedding day visions.
Currently Ed works as an account executive for a specialty insurance company, which allows him more time to spend with his family exploring Atlanta and its surrounding areas.
